New Year & Win A Print

Welcome to my first post of the new year! Hope you’ve have a great start to the year,
Whilst many were out celebrating the turn of the year, I was tucked up nicely in bed with an early alarm call as I was working on new years day.
Outside my job I have been spending time updating this website. I’m hoping some of the regular visitors would have noticed a change to the homepage and the gallery landing page. The gallery page now included dates of when I last updated the album, some of which are well overdue some new photos. This little update will make it easier to see if I have added new photos rather than you going through the album again.
I have also refreshed some of the pages, though this is minor and you’ll not really notice much change unless you have gone through my site with a fine comb.
Due to the time of year I have not really been out to much with my camera, I work a minimum of 10 hours every day and often walk to work in the dark and walk home in the dark. In the last week I have noticed there is still sunlight on the horizon when I leave work, this is the first time since autumn it has been like this. We have actually had two nice weekends but due to other reasons I have not been able to go out with my camera. This last weekend I had to stay with Toffee, our Cocker Spaniel who has just had an operation. During the op, he also suffered a fracture to his bone and had metal pins put into his leg. This weekend was just lots of time with him, making sure he was ok and comfortable. It could be 12-16 weeks before he fully recovers and is able to go for a walk again.

Website Shop
I have finally done it and opened the shop on here. Please take a look, I have some A3+ prints available as well as A4 prints with a border or borderless. I have more prints to add soon too. The A3+ prints come in at £45 and the A4 prints start at £20.00 with borderless A4 coming in at £25.
I have sold some images already in the last few months but none via my website, so it’s an exciting time for me. I’ve had an increase in visitors to my site also and actually have had a notification from Sqaurespace that my site has had a spike in visitors. Typically, most of these came in the days running up to my shop opening. Hopefully some of them come back and see I do now have a shop on here.
On top of that and despite me not doing much on the social platforms, I have also received some new followers in the last month too. Even one (don’t laugh) on Instagram and it’s my least used platform.
Right then that enough rambling on from me. Time to sit back and watch some football on the TV whilst keeping an eye on Toffee, who is looking rather sorry for himself.
Poor Toffee who is meant to be resting, is finding it hard to not run 100mph around the house.
